Assistive Technologies

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our website may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

  • Some third-party embedded content may not be fully accessible (we are working with vendors to improve this)
  • Older uploaded audio files may lack descriptive metadata (we encourage users to add detailed descriptions)
  • Complex data visualizations in analytics dashboards may have limited screen reader support (we provide alternative data tables)

Third-Party Content

While we strive to ensure accessibility of content we control, some content on our platform is provided by third parties (e.g., user-uploaded artwork, audio files, and descriptions). We encourage all users to:

  • Provide descriptive alt text for artwork and images
  • Use clear, descriptive titles and metadata for audio submissions
  • Write in plain language when possible

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We regularly:

  • Conduct accessibility audits and testing with assistive technologies
  • Train our development team on accessibility best practices
  • Review and update our code to meet evolving standards
  • Gather feedback from users with disabilities
  • Prioritize accessibility in new feature development

Standards and Legal Compliance

Our accessibility efforts aim to comply with:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C
  • ADA Title III - Americans with Disabilities Act (United States)
  • Section 508 - Rehabilitation Act (United States federal agencies)
